I was born and raised in Johnson City, TN. After going to a secular college for two years, the Lord brought me to salvation and I began attending Bob Jones University. I graduated in May 1997 and worked at the Wilds of the Rockies until the following May. In May 1998, my wife and I were married. We lived in Greenville, SC for one year while my wife worked on finishing her teaching degree. During this year, Hannah (now 10), was born.
Then the Lord called us to our first ministry opportunity in Pennsylvania as Youth Pastor. While in Pennsylvania, Emily (now 8) and Abby (now 7) were born. After three years, the Lord brought us to my home church in Tennessee to work with the youth for three years. After six years of working with teens, the Lord began directing my heart toward the senior pastorate. He led us to Temple Baptist Church in February of 2005 and we have seen Him richly bless since our time here.
